Support the Bircham Centre
Support Us
There are many ways you can help keep this wonderful building going with either your time or your financial support.
Be a Volunteer or Trustee
We rely on voluntary help to run the shop, develop the garden and provide the overall management of the Centre. If you can give us a little of your time, please contact us for an initial chat.
Join the 200 Club
Our 200 Club winners are drawn monthly, with prizes of £25, £15 and £10 awarded each month with additional prizes at Christmas. Membership is just £12.00 per year. Contact us to sign up!
Visit our Shop (or donate to it)
The Bircham Centre Charity Shop has lots of good things for sale so why not stop by to look for a bargain. Check out our Opening Times here. We welcome donations (Tuesday mornings only 10 am to midday) of clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, books, homewares, toys and other bric-a-brac.
We are sorry but there are certain items we cannot accept for the shop, because we cannot test them, ensure their safety or sell/pass them on. This includes electrical items, furniture, underwear, items where we cannot ensure their safety such as helmets, baby items with straps (bouncers/high chairs/moses baskets), large ride-on toys, encyclopaedias etc. If in doubt please ask our volunteer shop manager before bringing items in to us.
Use our Facilities
We have meeting rooms, professional spaces and – of course – our beautiful garden. All of these are available to hire – see our Room Hire details here. Our kitchenette is equipped with a kettle, water boiler and fridge so basic refreshments can be offered to all areas.
Leave us a Gift in Your Will - or 'In Memoriam'
You can be a part of the Centre’s future by leaving a gift in your Will. Every gift is appreciated and will make a difference, whatever the size. You can get guidance on how to word your legacy to ensure that your gift is used according to your wishes by viewing our Legacy Giving leaflet – just click here to view it.
Another way to mark a life might be to make a gift to the Centre in memory of a loved one. This can take the form either of a gift to help with our running costs, or to purchase a specific item within the Centre or Garden.
